The Barn is our most ambitious project to date. We have pulled out all the stops to do justice to this formerly thatched Barn dating back to the 1800’s. The end result will be something quite special.

We received planning permission to “convert” this Barn believed to have been built in the 1800’s or earlier in 2018. As the roof line couldn’t be raised we dug down to create a partially sunken ground floor for the property. Although we where allowed to dismantle the old barn and start again, we thought it would be criminal not to incorporate the original Elm structure that had been standing for so long.
Combining the old and new materials has created challenges along the way, but we are already exceptionally happy with the interaction between the historical and modern aspect. We look forward to being able to show you the finished article in April 2019.
