We purchased this plot of land with barns back in January 2020, with the aim to develop a range of residential properties in keeping with the remaining working farm that surrounds them.

The site consisted of a large barn, which was once an agricultural store for all things farming, from machinery to livestock and a single storey property which was formerly a potato ‘chitting’ shed, before being converted into the farm office. We uncovered a heap of history during the development including the discovery of signed bricks by prisoners of war (WW1) who were put to work on the farms following their capture.

By using a mixture of modern and more industrial methods & materials we believe we’ve achieved a finish that not only offers our usual standard of modernity and comfort, but also acknowledges the history within the various buildings. This development was completed in June 2021 slowed only slightly by the various lockdowns and all three were sold ‘off plan’ prior to their completion.

Since completing the works, we have been asked by the land seller (who’s family have owned and run the farm for well over 100 years) to complete a build on her behalf. Praise indeed!
